It has a very robust totally enclosed fan-cooled 3 HP Induction Motor with dual capacitors for full effeciency and power. The fine-grain cast iron top is precision machined with an in-line grind for a smooth, flat surface for your material.Two cast iron wings with fully beveled front edge are standard on this unit. The unit has a hinged metal motor cover for easy access to the inside of the cabinet. The 4 In. dust port is located at the back of the cabinet where the dust is expelled easily by the wind from the blade--hooked up to a dust collector makes this even more effective. This saw comes with the new Delta T2 Fence System that includes the steel angle iron mounting plate, a steel guide tube that delivers 50 In. rip capacity to the right of the blade. The fence has a heavy-duty steel beam with aluminum extrusion fence faces for straight, flat and accurate cuts.
