This Cove and Bead bit is used for creating a decorative edge on a workpiece. The bearing guides the bit, controlling the cut. Project uses include molding, furniture, cabinetry and frames. Use in handheld and table-mounted routers. The design of this bit includes POZI-STOP Shank. The POZI-STOP Shank automatically locates the bit at the correct height in the collet. Switching between bits during a project is fast and easy. Bits will always be at exactly the same height, no test cuts needed. The POZI-STOP Shank creates a stronger longer lasting bit, with less vibration resulting in smoother cuts. This bit includes MONSTER CARBIDE. 40% thicker carbide than on standards bits. Resulting in a stronger, longer lasting bit. Better heat and force distribution. Generates less friction, runs cooler. Provides smoother cuts. Allows faster feed rates. Can be resharpened more times than standard carbide. Tips For Using This Bit: Vary the cut width by using a different size bearing.
