This bit cuts rounded edges and makes a beading profile when used with a 3/8 In. bearing. The bearing guides the bit, controlling the cut. Use in handheld and table-mounted routers. Tips For Using This Bit: Flip the workpiece over and make a second pass to create a half-round edge. Use with a cove bit with the same radius to make a drop-leaf table. Change the depth of cut to rout different designs. Create unique decorative edges by stacking cuts made with two different size bits of the same type. Or by stacking cuts made with two or more different types of edge-cutting bits. Never bottom out the router bit in the collet. Leave about 1/8 In. clearance to allow the collet to tighten properly.
